Given that there have been so many people who have fallen victim to cancer the types of cancer ribbons are being introduced so as to symbolize our awareness. But before you can show how aware you are of cancer, you must first be able to tell the many types of cancer ribbons from each other so as to be able to get one of the right meaning and purpose.
When you see amber colored types of cancer ribbons, it means that you or someone close to you has fallen victim to appendix cancer.
When you see black and light blue colored types of cancer ribbons it means that you have lost a brother or a son to cancer, while if the ribbon is colored black or pink it will signify that you have lost a sister or daughter to the dreadful disease.
The black and white colored types of cancer ribbons have many meanings attached to it. It can mean that you are anti-corruption and anti-racism. It can mean that you are aware of the vaccines as well. But cancer wise these types of cancer ribbons will mean that you or someone close to you has fallen victim to carcinoid syndrome.
The blue, pink, and white colored types of cancer ribbons means that you or someone you know has fallen victim to the syndrome of parental alienation.
If you see someone wearing blue and silver types of cancer ribbons it means that the person is coping with a cancer that is not specific. But if the ribbon is blue and green it means that the person has hypertension that is intracranial. The blue and white types of cancer ribbons signify cancer found in teens while the blue and yellow ones will mean that you support people will Down syndrome as well as disorders that involves fatty oxidation.
The blue ribbon can mean a whole lot of things and not all of them are even related to cancer. Wearing these types of cancer ribbons can mean that you or someone close to you has fallen victim to one of many of the following: colon cancer, alopecia, arthritis, colitis, dystonia, gout, malaria, myositis, syringomyelia, and many others. It can even mean that you support good water quality.
If you see someone wearing a clear or white colored ribbon it means that you or someone you know is suffering from lung cancer and other lung diseases. But if the ribbon is cream it can denote that you are aware of the problems that are brought by paralysis, injuries of the spinal cord and other spinal cord diseases.
If you see a gold and black ribbon it means that you are aware of platelet diseases and disorders while the gold and silver ones will mean that you are aware that there are hearing disorders, impairments, and Meniere’s disease.
A plain gold ribbon means that you are aware of cancer that is found in children. The gray ones, on the other hand, will mean that you are aware of brain tumors and cancers that can be deadly.
