There are many sub types of narcissistic personality disorder. These subtypes include the unprincipled narcissist which shows antisocial traits of the person. The people under this subtype are known to be deceptive too as well as disloyal and fraudulent. The amorous narcissists are subtypes wherein the person is seductive and enticing. They are clever too but are pathological liars. The compensatory narcissists are the people who cancel out inferiority by creating illusions that they are superior and admirable. The elitist narcissist is the one who feels that he is privileged and empowered. The fanatic narcissist is the person who has an arrested self-esteem when he was a child. These people are often paranoid and base their lives in fantasies that are grand where they are the only ones that are good and great.

This kind of personality disorder is not a joke. It may seem so, but it should be taken lightly as the person who will be diagnosed with it will not have a good life. Understanding them is one step but there are many more to follow.
