CRT-Also called Cathode Ray Tube, this is one of the types of computer screens which were considered the most popular until the price of flat screens became affordable to many. It is the type that is considered conventional. Its affordability is what makes it stand out among the other computer screens. This is similar to an older TV which has a much better viewing angle, contrast ratio as well as response time than other computer screen choices.

Plasma– This is one of the types of computer screens which is not commonly utilized with a computer due to its high power consumption, fixed resolution and high operating temperature.

OLED– Otherwise known as ‘Organic Light Emitting Display,’ this is one of the types of computer screens which is much brighter and thinner compared to Plasma or LCD screens. Such type is very light as well.
